Just so everyone knows, resident favorite Travis Yost has been attacked across all media platforms of the web by Euge Melnyk and associates, you can't comment on his blogs without someone removing comments, now they're locked, and his twitter and every blog he ever wrote dating back to May 2010 was deleted from hockeybuzz in an attack.

This, shortly following a set of weird phishing attempts trying to get his IP address.

Point being, the idiotic old man has paid some ukranians he works with in a charity to attempt to wipe anything Yost has to say about his shady practices and his leveraging of the Sens to support his failing businesses from the internet.

I'll be posting this in every thread so as many people are aware as possible.

Should be 2013, obviously. My bad. Thanks for pointing that out!

How much do you know about Chris Breen? I've heard people say he will see some action with the Flames this year. Any legitimacy to that?

It would be nice to have his 6'6 frame around.

That's accurate, yes. I don't know that he'll spend the season in Calgary but I expect him to get some games at some point.

Culkin should be ahead of Roy and Cundari. I would even say Kanzig but i get that people like his size. Culkin could be a Brodie 2.0

Its unlikely a single one of these guys will develop into a top 4 D-man...Wotherspoon is the top D prospect yet he was only the 3rd or 4th best d-man on the winterhawks...Ekblad would give this group an infusion of talent.

Wotherspoon was #2 on the Winterhawks. He is the only guy that i think is sure fire top 4.

I agree we need Ekblad.

I got to say that I was extremely impressed with the chemistry between Brodie and cundari, if Brodie can develop into a top pairing guy I wouldn't be surprised to see cundari on that pairing with him

Wotherspoon I think was the 2nd or 3rd best on that team behind high end draft picks Seth jones and Derrick pouliot. He also played for team Canada at the world juniors and while he was a bottom pairing guy he filled his role effectively. Long story short he is a very good defense prospect and while he wasn't the best man on the winterhawks squad you have to remember how stacked their team is.

Also I have this weird feeling we'll get ekblad 3rd overall

wotherspoon is a lot more solid then that.

I think he'll make a solid 3-4, gio type Dman

problem is Breen doesn't play 6'6. He needs to get a mean streak or at least get more physical.

He plays too much like dana murzyn at the moment

Roy is better than credit given. He was hung out to cover for pulock while stuck with the lamest group of of forwards in the dub

I agree. Culkin should certainly have cracked the top 5. I'm also a little surprised not to see Kulak in there; pretty under rated D man. Still, we have no potential top pairing guys which is a little sad. I'm on board with Ekblad as our pick next year in rnd 1.

Maybe Kris Russell fills that role and pairs with Brodie ahead of Cundari.
